The Hollywood Foreign Press Association sued Michael Russell, his partner Stephen LoCascio and Russell's public relations firm on Monday, claiming they breached a confidentiality agreement. The lawsuit also claims the pair attempted to profit off their connection with the glitzy awards show.

The lawsuit comes roughly three weeks after Russell sued the HFPA, claiming its members accepted graft in exchange for nominations and awards. Russell's suit was filed three days before this year's Globes ceremony, which attracted Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and honored actor Robert DeNiro with a lifetime achievement award.

Jim Parsons' Golden Globe win for Best Actor in a TV Comedy took the entire 'Big Bang Theory' cast by surprise, especially after they were seated at an out-of-way "nerd table" at the awards, said co-star Johnny Galecki on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS).

When asked if he thought the show would win an award, Galecki responded, "I don't think we put much thought into it. We were so excited about being invited. And then we got there and the table that they had us at was practically behind the stage. We thought, 'Well, very poetically, we're at the nerd table.' And thought, 'We can't even get to the stage. So, we're not winning anything.'"

Max did not win a Golden Globe

(added last year!)

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of the Dogpound. I don’t know if you watched the Golden Globe Awards or not. I didn’t, but later on I did catch all the static that was created by host Ricky Gervais. It is my understanding that the basic complaint was that Ricky was too harsh with his comments about the stars in attendance and the host of the event. Now, I find that really funny, since      Ricky is billed as a British comedian, which should give you some clue that folks would be targeted for barbs and jibs.

Now, the British have their own style of humor – rather droll humor, but still humor – and the icing on the cake is this is his second time doing this show. No one should be sitting there and suddenly ask their date, “Did he just make a funny about me. What’s up with that?!” These folks are in the news every day and you would think they would be more upset about not being mentioned and not being the center of attention than someone throwing a few slights their way.
